Bike Helmet Cover
A bicycle bike helmet cover or bicycle helmet, is specifically designed to provide head protection for cyclists. This type of bike helmet cover is also used in other sports such as skating. The number of jurisdictions are enacting legislation on the requirement to wear helmets and other safety equipment items. Before the seventies, the dominant form of bicycle bike helmet cover was the leather style as netting, called bumpers. This offered minimal protection. Two of the first modern bicycle helmets were made by MSR, a manufacturer of mountaineering equipment, and Bell, a manufacturer of automobile and motorcycle helmets for racing. These helmets were the result of the development of expanded production lines of motorcycle helmets and motor sport in polystyrene foam (EPS) and hard outer shell of polycarbonate plastic. Ironically, the department of Bell bike helmets, BellSport was closed and ceased in 1991, devoting himself entirely the business of motorcycle helmet and engine. The first bicycle helmet was designed exclusively for the Bell Biker, a hard-shell polystyrene-linear launched in 1975. There was no appropriate standard, the only applicable was that of Snell and would only last for a lightweight bike helmet cover open face motorcycle. At one time the design was refined and by 1983 Bell made the Pro V1, the first polystyrene bike helmet cover intended for racing. In 1984 Bell produced the Li'l Bell helmet, a bike helmet cover of children without exterior casing. These early helmets had little ventilation. In 1985 Snell Snell B85 standard introduced the first standard for bicycle helmet, then further refined in B90 and B95 (see standards below). At this time the helmets were all or nothing case hard shell (perhaps a vacuum-formed plastic cover). Ventilation was still minimal mainly due to technical limitations of the foam and the casing in use. Around 1990 a new construction technique was invented: microshell mold. A very thin shell was built during the molding process. It quickly became the dominant technology, which results in larger vents and more complex shapes difficult to achieve in the previous covers. The 1990 market survey of consumer association (UK) showed that about 90% of helmets for sale were Snell B90 certified. For its review in 1998 the number of helmets certified by Snell was about zero. The hard shells declined rapidly among the general population cycling, almost disappearing by the end of the decade, though still popular with BMX riders and skateboarders and skaters online. The late 90's and early 2000 saw progress in the retention and appropriate systems and close catching, replacing the old system of pads of different thickness to adjust absolutely perfect rider's head. This has also led to the back of the head that was covered under the hull, the impacts to this region are scarce, but does a modern bike helmet much less suitable for activities such as unicycling, skateboarding and skating online, which is relatively common to fall back. Other helmets are more suitable for these activities. . . .
